COVID-19 Update
Your well-being is our priority, now and always. We are keeping up to date with everything relevant to Floating as best we can, as well as Government and WHO updates. Based on what we know, we are remaining open for the time being and will let everyone know if we decide to close. So far, it is apparent that Coronavirus is not water-borne.
The Centre for Disease Control and Prevention have stated that “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs.”
Dr.Roy Vore is a microbiologist and specialises in management of recreational waters. He has said that “It is not spread in water, such as float water.”
We have also increased our already stringent cleaning processes and are disinfecting all surfaces touched during a float between every appointment. This is as well as all other areas in the building which are regularly touched.
We are asking everyone to wash their hands as soon as they arrive to help keep our surfaces as sanitary as possible!
Lastly, we are kindly asking you to cancel your appointment if you have any symptoms, have been in contact with anyone who has suspected COVID-19 or are in a vulnerable group. Cancellations, however last minute, will not be charged. We are happy to reschedule them for you too.
We understand this is an unsettling time for everyone, and hope we can work together as a community.
